At Banaid Studio, we believe focus is a sanctuary. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data within the Silence application.

1. Data Collection & Usage

Silence is designed with a Privacy-First architecture.

• Screen Time Data: Our app uses the Apple Screen Time API (FamilyControls). We do not collect, store, or transmit any information about the specific applications you choose to shield or monitor. All selection happens locally on your device via Apple's secure, opaque tokens.

• Personal Information: We do not require an account, email address, or any personal identifiers to use the app.

• Usage Analytics: We do not use third-party tracking or analytics. Your session history is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

2. Permissions

• Family Controls: Required to programmatically silence notifications and block distracting apps during your sessions.

• Device Activity: Used locally to track the duration of your focus sessions.

3. Data Storage

All app data (timer settings and session history) stays on your iPhone. If you delete the app, this data is deleted. We have no way to recover it because we never had it.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. Period.

• Intentional Gestures: Uses "Long-Press" mechanics to prevent accidental exits, providing a safety buffer for impulsive touch.

• Haptic Feedback: Subtly used to signal session starts/ends without relying purely on disruptive audio pings.
